Vivo will be launching the V7 and V7 Plus in India on September 7, 2017. The Chinese smartphone maker has already started sending out invites for the event.
These devices will be the successor to V5 series. The V5 Plus, which was launched earlier this year, had good mid range specifications and great set of optics. It had a dual front facing 20 MP + 8 MP camera, which was its USP. It was powered by the popular midrange processor, Snapdragon 625 and had 4 GB RAM and 64 GB non-expandable memory.
The V7 and V7+ are expected to have similar specifications with slight improvements. Both are rumored to have fullHD resolution displays with V7's screen measuring 5.5 inch and V7+'s one 5.7 inch. They might also be carrying the Snapdragon 630/660 processors, which are successors to the 625 chipset. Other rumored features include a 24 MP front facing camera and a probable bezelless design. The teasers certainly show a device with very thin bezels, and the current trend of such displays makes this a strong possibility.
